About Yosemite Sierra Summer Camp
Yosemite Sierra Summer Camp was established in 1972 to provide Christian adventure camp experiences for children 8 to 16 years old. While most west coast Christian camp and conference centers offer weekend or week long programs, YSSC designed longer stays of 2 or more weeks to provide for deeper learning and broader growth. Bass Lake, California, located in the shadow of Yosemite National Park, was selected as the ideal location for YSSC. A commitment to health and safety, excellent summer camp staffing, creative and wisely paced programming, and diverse camp activities results in campers growing character, skills, relationships, and faith.
