CONTENTS OF CATHERINE COOKSON`S STRONGBOX:-
Inside the box was 2 leather pouches,one of which contained 17 Full gold sovereign coins,the other pouched contained 11 gold Half sovereigns..
there was also a small jewelry box which contained a diamond and gold necklace with matching bracelet and ring.
Total value (at the time) around £7,000gbp..not bad for a hundred quid eh?
This happened about 10yrs ago..so you could probably add another nought on that now.
