How's he going to make the Sonic Cannon practical in combat?Pull it out of his ass?
Even if Sam is up against the Sonic Cannon he defeat take the cannon down by the simple toss of an EMP grenade, down goes the Sonic Cannon permanently. If he has no EMP grenade he can simply pull out his Laser Cannon and let it loose. Destructive laser at the speed of light > Spinning furball at Mach 10. Without the cannon Sonic can't do his "devastating attack" let's not forget it's demolishion during the final episodes of Sonic X and that it doesn't exist in Sonic's main canon universe. So picking up a 600lbs robots with your entire body is a far more astonishing than send a 15t robot head flying with one fist? Sonic won't be able to fight Sam for shit unless he goes Super, but I still wonder if Sam would even allow Sonic to transform.
SatSR?He lost his ring powers after he left the storybook world.
Sonic Unleashed?He could no longer turn into the Werehog, it was taken back by Dark Gaia who later died.
SatBK?No more knight powers after leaving that world.
SC?Wisp powers gone after the Wisps go back to their planet.
Sonic is still the same as he was back then.
His maximum capabilities can only be determined by his creator's decisions, so it's not really a valid point and a very cheap argument there.
