I do use a game recorder. It's called a dazzle. They aren't that complicated actually. All you need is a couple splitters and connecters. I got the Dazzle for $60.00 dollars at Microcenter in Michigan. It is a pretty good recorder, but is crappy if you don't have it's video editor.
