They look like that due to reflections. They aren't as plastic looking in real life. I swear.
Change the eyelashes and color contacts you will get this result..

TIPS:
Remember to keep an even pressure while you twist the drill (toward the right to drill down) and then gently twist in the opposite direction (to the left) to back the drill bit out once you finally break through.
‼ WARNING ‼
DO NOT USE HAND DRILLS ON UNPROTECTED SURFACES‼
It is very easy to accidentally start drilling in to the surface below the object you intended on drilling a hole in so please work on a scrap piece of wood, a pile of cardboard or a stack of craft foam. (This is a fair warning. I will not be responsible if you accidentally drill a hole in your desk!)
From what I've seen you can use any standard (small) drill bits in a hand drill. It tightens up like a standard power drill- the only difference is it is hand powered. If you find your drill bit breaks you can visit your local hardware store to pick up another bit- but it's probably cheaper just to buy a whole new hand drill. They run about $4 and come with three drill bits. The brand I have is Loew Cornell.
