Duck Sauce, the indomitable pair of New York producer/DJs A-Trak and Armand Van Helden, deliver an appropriately seasonal treat with the release of the third single and official video from their collaborative project. With its unstoppable kick drum and feral howl, "Big Bad Wolf" is prime fodder for Halloween playlists. The video, directed by Keith Schofield, is a shocking behind-the-zipper comedy starring the DJ duo that truly must be seen to be believed.
"Big Bad Wolf" further explores the re-animated club sounds Duck Sauce utilized to create "Barbra Streisand", last year's ubiquitous single that turned dance music on its head, hitting #1 in over 12 countries while perched atop the American Billboard Dance Singles chart, landing placements in Glee and How To Make It In America and soundtracking ad campaigns for Vitamin Water, Samsung and Express. "Barbra"'s New York-centric video, featuring Kanye West, DJ Premier, Santigold, Pharrell, ?uestlove and a litany of others, continues to rack up tens of millions of YouTube views, capturing the downtown zeitgeist and becoming arguably the biggest viral music video of all time.
A-Trak and AVH are currently putting the finishing touches on their debut Duck Sauce full-length LP, which they have teased during DJ sets to sold-out crowds at Coachella, Hard Fest and numerous festivals overseas.
