As I said, Viruses can be called "Alive" or "Unalive" depending on definition.  20 years ago I read a college book that said Viruses are alive. Now, it would seem that the definitions have changed. They are still made of "Organic Matter". So they are Non-Living Organic Quasi (or Pseudo)-Organisms.

Whether Viruses are alive or not, as you said, they are good for GM and creating medical tools.

My purpose is hope and being good to people, it's yours too but you can't really do it if you bash someone's religion and spread hate or don't have christian values because that's the only way people can be good. If we only follow our own idea of what's good which is different to everyone, we only end up hurting people who don't agree . That is why their is so much evil in the world, it's because most people don't follow the bible to know or be afraid of the things that are wrong and not believing in God, is like living in a box that doesn't have any meaning but if you atleast have some faith that God might be real, you have lots of hope in your ife :)
