--*WARNING* *RANT COMING*--

It has come to my attention that on youtube a lot of people expect you to comment on their videos saying "AMAZING!" or "PERFECT!" and get all defensive or hostile when I don't post those types of comments. It is EXTREMELY RARE for a video to be those things.

I only subscribe to singers/posters who take constructive criticism well because I don't like being verbally bashed and sworn at repeatedly for saying something simple like "it was a little shaky, try holding your notes steadier while you practice, but good job tho" -- go figure. I find people who react that way extremely immature. WHY THE HELL would you leave your video open to PUBLIC comment if you just want your friends to fake a swoon over your less than mediocre voice?

I always post a criticism with a way I feel someone can improve their singing or their video. I'm not some expert singer or vocal coach but I do have ears, as do you. Most of us can tell whether something sounds good or not. It is only my opinion. If you want someone to pat your butt and say "OH MY GOD YOU SOUND JUST LIKE WHITNEY!" you're not going to get it from me. If you want someone to tell you the truth so you can maybe improve, you've come to the right place.
