Just because everyone does something, that doesn't mean it's right. And I don't get your argument... are you trying to say we all secretly hold this guy in contempt? Because no, we don't. That's why I'm defending him, because I feel differently than you do. Can you not imagine that someone who has all the facts and the ability to empathize might feel differently from you when watching this video?

maybe if you don't know how to play...

Oh yeah, youtube's comment feature is broken and they don't seem interested in fixing it.

Does anyone know what the music is? It has a nice sound.

Well, most of the really nice sounds are in that region anyway ;)

On the world around him. And for the unique way he lived and being one of the most tatooed people of all time. And why is he an idiot again?

Water is hydrogen bound to oxygen. There are plenty of oxides on both the moon and Mars, and both also have some hydrogen. But in fact, Mars goes one better: it has lots of water ice.

And Tommy Lee Jones is Texan. So I guess you're right, no Americans here.

No, it shouldn't be an exponential (or "almost exponential") increase in computation time as you zoom. It's simply a cubic increase. Two factors of N come from the fact that multiplication is an N-squared operation, and another comes from the increase in iteration count with depth.

Well, that little lake certainly thinks highly of itself.

I wouldn't say advances have stalled. Core counts have been going up, which is great for fractals if you've got a multithreaded renderer. And I'm sure you can do arbitrary precision on a GPU shader, it just may take a little coding ninjitsu. This is actually a project of mine at the moment, though I don't really know OpenCL so it may be a while before I get anything to work.
Also, thanks for making this sensational video!

If the intent was to make me drool all over the floor and wish I could do what you do, mission accomplished.

I remember spending hours on dialup trying to download an mp3 of this back in the day.

That is actually a really good question.

I didn't care for that movie overall (I guess I just don't like action) but the theme song has got to be one of the most inspiring pieces of music ever composed, and that part at the beginning of the movie where they first get there is really beautiful. This is a nice take on it, but I have to admit I think I still prefer the orchestral version. No offense! ;)

The kids joining in is the best part! X-D

I know, right? Someone would have to refer him to /watch?v=Bt9zSfinwFA if this were a less tragic situation. As it is, though, I'm willing to cut him a break.

Great synth composition. That little twangy line that comes in at 2:02 is orgasmically awesome to me.

What an epic series that was!

I've tried to find it too. I don't think a translated version exists.

Murders, thefts, and bullying hurt others. Someone eating something you don't think they should eat hurts nobody except possibly them. Besides, who are you to decide what's "fat" and what's "unhealthy"? You might be unhealthy in someone else's eyes too. How would you feel if they forced you to adhere to their regimen?
