About this user

I LOVE the band ][=][ - ][ - ][v][ (His Infernal Majesty)

As well as Linkin Park and most recently a band called Saturate..
Music is my obsession. It is a large part of who I am, and a large reason why I'm not locked away in a mental institution. Music is my only way to deal with the pressures of life.. it is my only escape, most of the time. I love all sorts of music, I love singing, and just getting lost in the rhythm, and lyrics.

I love anything to do with science.. I really enjoy visiting the NASA Space Center in Houston -What can I say? I'm a huge science geek, deep down.
I Love going to the beach, even though I'm not comfortable in anything less than jeans and a tee shirt.. there's just something about water.. it always seems to relax me (even though I'm afraid of large bodies of it)
I sometimes take life (and myself) WAY to seriously, but I really try hard not to.
I'm always thinking and often, my brain goes faster than my mouth, so don't be to surprised if ever we meet and I don't make much sense.
I'm very deep, but afraid to show it.
I'm much more open chatting online, than I would be in person. Because I don't have to see people's reactions to what I have to say like I would talking face to face.
I'm very quiet in real life, and people often mistake me for being afraid, or timid. But that's not always the truth. That's just me.
I'm not much company around people I don't know, but after that awkward stage passes, it's hard to shut me up.
I'm not comfortable in large crowds, unless I can get lost in them.
I prefer to be alone when given the chance, and am known to slip away when no one's looking. But I also enjoy socializing, on my own terms.
I'm looking for friends who will always be honest, open minded, kind, understanding, and loyal. I have had nary a friend like that in my whole life.
In fact, the only one I can think of, other than my sister, is my best friends Tyler and Ashley, whom I think of as family.
I've been told that I am wise for my age, but I know enough to know that I'm nowhere near knowing enough. I know I still have a lot to learn, and I'm trying my best to learn as much as I can.
I'm now living in Texas with my Father, older sister, half sister, and her mother. Things get hard, and sometimes I really don't feel like waking up in the morning, but I get over it, only to repeat it day after day.
Moving away from Indianapolis- the only home I knew for 20 years, was one of the hardest things I have had to do thus far, because it was just easier to stay there, doing nothing. but it gave me a clear view of where I'm at in my life, where I'm headed, and where I want to be.
I have only began to find myself, and everyday is a new experience, something to learn from. Most days it feels like I'm looking at things from the eyes of a child.. everything is just.. unfamiliar and scary.
I am still lost, I still get depressed, I still have those "bad days", and sometimes I just feel like losing myself in my misery.. and just giving up. But that feeling, like all the others, doesn't last long.
I think it is safe to say I am still trying to find myself, but at least now, I feel I can say I somewhat know what I'm looking for.. I finally feel like I'm on the right track to who I want to be.
