Movies and Shows: Since i love movies and tv and i spend so much gosh-dern time and effort watchin a shitload of 'em, this is gonna be a looooong assed list ^_^ T.V. -Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Xena ^_^ **they're both my faves, so i couldn't separate 'em :D** -Flight of the Conchords -Golden Girls -Pushing Daisies -Battlestar Galactica **the new one ^_^** -Gilmore Girls -Firefly -The Office **UK version** -The Tick **live-action** --So You Think You Can Dance (the 1 reality show i'll watch). Allright, on to films... -Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy, and other Guillermo del Toro movies -Pretty much anything by M. Night Shyamalan -Steel Magnolias -Enchanted -Death Proof -Wanted -To Wong Foo -The Birdcage -Volver, All About My Mother, and pretty much all movies by Pedro Almodovar -Kill Bill -Anything w/ Jodie Foster -Musicals of all kinds (Lil' Shop of Horrors, Rent, Gypsy, Hairspray, etc.) -Anything w/ Queen Latifah *she's just teh sass-ay! ^o^** -Hero movies: Spider-man, Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, etc. -Stop-motion movies: Corpse bride, mighty joe young, Harvey Krumpet, etc. -Martial arts flicks (Jackie Chan IS da man!! ^o^) -Anything with Cher ^_^ -Lotsa others that i'm probably forgetting and will probably add later ^_^
Music: My all-time favorite songstress EVER is Miss Norah Jones (known on the streets as NoJo). Otherwise, my tastes have a broader range than Bette Midler's list of talents (is there anything that woman CAN'T do?!?!) : Johnny Cash (the man in black!), Vienna Teng, Dar Williams, The Wailin' Jennys, Flight of the Conchords, Girlyman, Cher, Billy Joel, Journey, Ray Charles, Barbra Streisand, Stevie Nicks, Dolly Parton, Kristen Chenoweth, Idina Menzel, Melody Gardot, Feist, Lucy Lawless, Fanny Grace, Bernadette Peters, anything from musicals (Wicked, Little Shop of Horrors, Gypsy, etc.), and of course, the poet, the prophet, the seer of seers, the genius that is Alvin and the Chipmunks.
Books: Comics!!! ^o^ Here's the list-- -Calvin and Hobbes -Liberty Meadows -Outland and Bloom County -Strangers in Paradise -Bone -Wildguard -Street Angel -Persepolis -Young Justice -Deadpool -Fruits Basket -Bleach O' course, i can get all down n' literary too, in which case i'm diggin anything by Douglas Adams, Ray Bradbury, H.P. Lovecraft, H.L. Milne (Winnie da Pooh is one baaaad mofo! ^o^); Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials, and just about anything else featuring fantastical stuff, or coming from other countries.
