We have 4 horses on our "farm". Xanthous, my horse, was born here & I raised her, broke her to lead, broke her to have hoofs trimmed, broke her to the saddle, broke her to ride. We started "messing" with her the day she was born to "imprint" all the handling she would receive in her life: grab her ears, scratched her back, picked up her feet, hands touching her head, etc.
