You are right my friend. Trance need a refreshment in sound, but in the right direction, faithfull to the roots of the genre, that make it so big and lovely. Now all this electro around is destroying not only trance but EDM in general, and what is coming from this process of blending genres is something with no soul and no respect of the true philosophy of club culture and raving. Too americanized, too pop and commercial stuff on one hand...on the other claustrophobic and ridiculously boring minimal music.... the scene is quite dead :(
