So I've been getting a lot of FAQ regarding my piano tutorials, so I figure I'll answer them here.
1. What programs do you use to make these tutorials?
Synthesia for displaying the notes, and iShowU for recording. iShowU is for Mac only (there are plenty of screencasting software for Windows already), while Synthesia is available for Windows and Mac.
2. Where do you get the midi files for your tutorials.
- Several sites. VGMusic and ninsheetmusic for the video game music. Josh Agarrado's Anime Sheet Music Collection for anime music. Rppmf.com and freemid.org for rock music.
3. Could you by any chance make a tutorial of (insert song title here)?
- If you would like to request a tutorial for a song please provide the midi file for that song. If I don't have the midi file I can't record a tutorial since I have no midi-composition/transcription abilities whatsoever.
