Quick video of clips over the past few weeks.
-Please note. I know the majority of these clips are jumping but remember these are each on different horses. I do not jump 24/7, it's the last thing I can stand. They get jumped once a week or even once a fortnight, most of their work is flatwork about 3/4 times a week then good old hacking!-
Clips of Ben from Rowallan first week in Feb. Was a little star, my first 3-day show and his too. Spent the weekend finding our rythm and feet. First day was a bit messy as he was terrified of the size of the arena as we have nothing like this down here so he was pretty shell-shocked and by the last day he jumped a beautiful Discovery and just caught the second to last fence down. He then had a lovely week off in the sunshine and just been hacking and doing a bit of flatwork since :).
Cruise is being a total superstar. Gave him a pop the other day (in vidoe). First time I'd jumped him in a while and previously I've been doing exercises to get him more up in the air an use himself more and I think he took it way too seriously! Totally getting outjumped and I'm well aware of that, he kept dicking off after the fences silly cob :P, plus he's usually in a Tom Thumb and martingale.
Dee's going super still. Her flatwork is beyond incredible at the moment, finally after 2 and a half years we've found how to work together! Had a PC Rally Monday and she threw a tantrum at one of the fences, but that's just Dee :) Got to love her!. Think she was feeling the surface a bit, but bar that she jumped amazing!
ALSO Me & Cruisey had some dressage qualifiers today for Dengie Series. We came second in the Novice (with me forgetting my test!) and won the Open! Got some lovely comments from people there today of him so we're off for the Regionals in March!!
Hopefully aiming for my first British Event of 2012 at the end of Next Month. GFingers crossed!

Both the quote and soundtrack mean a hell of a lot to me..
I mixed/cut the quote and audio to suit my preferance, and also to make it personal to me, as a lot of people have been using backing tracks from my videos. I know this again because I spend hours, even days finding quotes and songs, and mix them together, adjust them. So please, do not 'steal' this one. I will beable to tell and will PM.
Rant over.
So yeah, it's fairly obvious from what I mean by this quote. I have spent so long, almost 2 whole years now, trying to get back out and about again. I know I go on about this a lot, but I truely can not emphasise how much I mean. I've had saddle problems, serious and dangerous falls, physio, bitting problems, travel problems and constant training at home to get where I'd want to be. And on top of that, two amazing horses who have come down with arthritis, both at a young age, unable to know if they'd come back into full work again or not.
Truth is, reality hurts.. People will always try to put you down, and guess what? Those who believe in the idiots are the real idiots themselves. Those people you see 'at the top' will have gotten there by climbing the mountain, as long as it takes and ignoring these critisisers.
At times I think.. 'What am I doing? I'm still no futher forward. Is it really worth it?'
Never think like this, its wrong. Everyone is capable of making their dream, just some don't see their way through the fog. Remember, fog will always clear if you give it time.
I think my fog is finally clearing.. Things are slowly getting back to normal again, and I have never been so excited to prove people wrong. I have never once said 'I will give up on a horse' and I never will.
Your dream can become your reality, if you allow it.

Basically;
I was going through my diary today, and i found this.. i had written it down when i was really depressed back in december (with a few changes)
And i thought i'd make a video, but then i couldn't be bothered (sorry) so i just made this causse i wanted to share this with you guys :)

Tomorrow marks one year since Fancy died. I think about her every day, and it is never easy. I try and act strong about it, but she was harder to lose then most people I have lost in my life. I just miss her so much.
This video is more for me then anything, to kinda show me that no matter when she is always with me and Freckles and Dream. I only with I showed her how much i loved her when i had the chance.
I am going on a trip this weekend (if it doesn't rain) to get my mind off her and as kinda a tribute to her.
R.I.P. Pretty Girl.
