Liberty & the right to express opinions and ideas( fact) without hindrance, and especially without fear of punishment. It is a basic human rights not to be forced to agree with anyone. It is a universal birthright & definitely not a gift from anyone!
To deny a person's freedom of speech,whether a FACT or OPINION is to deny what can be considered one's most basic freedom; to think for one's self.
The right to freedom of speech, whether a FACT or OPINION is recognized as a human right under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recognized in international human rights law in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).
The right to such freedom is also enshrined at the 1987 constitution of THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES under BILL OF RIGHTS article III section 4.
"No law shall be passed abridging the freedom of speech, of expression, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and petition the government for redress of grievances."
