The end is near . . . and the world has been enveloped in shadow. The Epic Gods themselves have taken up arms in defense of their creation, as the inexorable horde of demonic invaders consumes all. Emboldened by their creators, the remaining heroes have banded together for the final battle. The culmination of every previous battle, every loss, every valorous moment, has arrived. As the Epic battle commences, the heavenly hosts begin their melodious war songs.
