Flashback to 2006: I never had an idea of what I wanted to be when I grew up. I spent my time pondering, and figuring I was doomed to fit in nowhere with no one. I wanted to be different and start something for myself. But I could never find it out. It started off like any other morning, and I turned on my telivision to hear some music videos as always. There was a new artist in the business. She was young, pretty, but caught my attention immediately. She goes by the name of Taylor Swift. She introduced the world and myself to her first single "Tim Mcgraw". From that moment on, I knew I had a purpose. I had to become a musician, and put these poems to use. That following year, I learned to play guitar because of Taylor. Never in my life have I been happier. I am not a rip off of her music, nor do I imitate her voice. My name is Aurie Demers, and please keep your eyes open for me. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to take my music to higher levels. And as for Taylor, thank you for everything. You're a superhero.
