An Apache has a much smaller profile in combat. In a counter-insurgency situation, a Blackhawk is better. But in a conventional war, where you have to engage enemy tanks and stuff, Apaches will be a lot more agile and harder to hit.

I guess by that argument, we should have quit in WW2. There was a hell of a lot more "head-hitting" then. At Dieppe alone, in one day, we lost 800 soldiers, killed. (Many other as casualties.)
