I just got the official call recorder from Skype. Had to pay about 5-10 bucks (I forget) but it works perfectly.

Go to the properties menu, and where you pick your microphone to record from, choose "record playback." It should work.

Honestly, I have no freaking idea how to use Audacity for anything but recording from a microphone. I've never bothered to try.

Oh yeah, I'm fine. The hurricane was, honestly, blown way out of proportion. All it did was push news away from a typhoon in South/Latin America, which actually DID some damage. Anyway, the worst thing that happened to me because of the hurricane was that I had to stand out in the rain for maybe 10 minutes when our fire alarm went off. That's it. My dorm was the only one on campus that didn't lose power, so I was happy about that.

No, I live too far away from the coast to get more than an ordinary rain-and-wind combo from that hurricane. We didn't even lose power. Not while I was awake, anyway. That said, the recent earthquake has hit us in an extremely annoying way... it seems to have opened up passages in the ground that have caused a mild ant infestation around our house. I suppose it could be worse... we could have actually been living somewhere where the quake was more than a tremor... >_>
