@fitimio001 actually it's an entirely Subaru design using the same rear axle limited slip diff setup as the new sti an fb25 engine and either the sti 6 speed tranny or the 5mt based 6 speed found in the legacy gt. Toyota just paid for the r&d so they could rebadge it

I now Subaru needs to give the brz version sti tuning and come up with an ff layout boxer sports car to fill the lineup with the brz and the wrx. That would give the company some pretty nice performance depth with all 3 drivetrain setups

The Audi has an almost identical awd system to the Subaru. In all their manual cars Subaru uses a copy of the quattro 50-50 power split awd system with front and rear independent suspension. I have a 96 legacy and it works awesome in snow like this
