It's a television show, folks.
Mike Lanana and Truman Kapstone live together and write a "wildly popular" (their words, not ours) television series for the Northwest Broadcasting Network (NWBN) called "Patches." The show is entering its sixth season, and the writers are either beginning to lose their patience (Truman) or contemplating burning down NWBN (Mike). This can't possibly end well.
