@corsair42893 I'm pretty sure that what is coming out of the bell is what he wants to be coming out, so as long as it remains that way, he is doing everything the way that works for him. It is just a gauge for intonation purposes. Now if there was only a way around the many moods of fifth position.

@AlienAxeGuitars Umm... NO. And what instrument do you play anyways? Guitar? On trombone you must articulate each note or it will gliss unless it changes partial. Learn a few things before you say all tubas and trombones can play this.

I think there may be some air problems, but you hardly ever showed signs of problems. Great performance.

@SeybertGuy He's using too much air, and not enough buzzing. Most people have a hard time with endurance when the switch to more buzz because the lips and air work together, not just air moving the lips.

I say you buzz it for a while before you practice each day, make sure that the mpc buzz is an equal amount of air and buzz. And if you are doing the ornamentation because Alessi did it and he sounds good, don't. Work on ornamentation out of the Arban's method and pick where to use ornaments that ...

He really reminds me of my style of playing, yet his articulation is much cleaner and he is always centered in the mouthpiece. His tone is very full and his notes are so consistent.
