About Me:
They were also involved in groups that I like to call, The Milli Vanilli's of the day. A producer would get the guys in and lay down some instrumental tracks. If it became a hit, they would record an album and put a group together to go on the road. This happened many times with groups like the Marketts, Routers, and T-Bones. The next day they would do the same thing and call it another name. Same musicians, but different group Name.
At the time the record industry was primarily in New York, London and Detroit in the late 50's and early 60s. Then there was a surge towards the mid-60s that pushed the recording to the west Coast. So these musicians were recording around the clock for a good 8 years. It's hey day for this group was in 1967 when the charts turned to the west.
Music:
The 5th Dimension, The Association, The Beach Boys, The Byrds, Glen Campbell, Captain and Tennille, The Carpenters, Cher, The Chipmunks, Nat King Cole, Sam Cooke, The Crystals, Bobby Day, The Defenders, Shelley Fabares, Richard Harris, Jan and Dean, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, Barry McGuire, The Mamas and The Papas, Henry Mancini, The Marketts, Dean Martin, Scott McKenzie, The Monkees, Chris Montez, Ricky Nelson, Wayne Newton, Jack Nitzsche, Harry Nilsson, The Partridge Family, Elvis Presley, Paul Revere and The Raiders, The Righteous Brothers, The Rip Chords, Johnny Rivers, Tommy Roe, The Ronettes, The Routers, The Sandpipers, Lalo Schifrin, Simon and Garfunkel, Frank Sinatra, Nancy Sinatra, Sonny and Cher, T-Bones, Nino Tempo and April Stevens, Deep Purple, Herb Alpert and The Tijuana Brass, Ike and Tina Turner, Ritchie Valens, Bobby Vee, The Ventures, Mason Williams, Roger Williams.

The Wrecking Crew along with the Talented Producers;/ Writers and Artists (few in number) ALL belong in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in special catagory. The influence of their creativity developed the Mindset of generations seeking portrayal of experiences, opinions and feelings.Their work often made us feel OK, full of hope and they were our secret, private Treasure.Radio was Biblical, they provided countless Sermons.I am honored to pay homage to them everyday thru muscial memories singing with deep emotion of a simpler way of life we so badly need in our World today. Thank You with Love and Respect.

If you're a Boomer who listened to the radio growing up, or if you are a younger listener who loves the sound of the 60s channel on SIrius/XM, you have to see this film. You'll find out who really made those records work- the people who came up with the arrangements, and/or the musicians played behind the name(s) on the 45 label. What a wonderful trip it is!
