Good god I love SG... but.... this is one of the worst band performances I've seen from a major band. The singer is sadly... terrible... How is that possible, given that their albums are so amazing?

It's really cool to see SG live, but.... the singer is terrible. Just terrible. The best reason I can think of is that he couldn't hear himself. Sometimes they don't mic properly. That HAD to be it... there's no other reason he could be so bad....

This is probably the coolest song ever written in the history of the universe.

This was cool -- i'm glad he was having fun with it. I love his music, but I'm just not sure I loved this arrangement, as others have said. He has shown that he can adopt his fingerpicking style to pretty much anything, but.... there's something special about Stairway just the way it is.

I love Tommy Karevik (and think he's a better singer than Fabio), and I worship SW... but Fabio is a better fit for this band. He's more raw and edgy than Tommy, and he somehow bonds with the audience better. That's the right fit for Kamelot... I hope Fabio stays on!

I wonder if Tommy's experience with Kamelot is going to rub off onto future Seventh Wonder works. Not that SW needs it, but it would be fascinating....

God it's so weird to not see him singing, "No matter where you're from, this is your home.... welcome to mercy falls"!!! Still, he did an awesome job here.

Tommy has an amazing voice, but he belongs with SW and fits better there. (I love both bands.) My one issue with SW is that they don't have the stage presence that Kamelot does, and you can see it here - Tommy looked uncomfortable. It could be b/c he knows he's singing another dude's songs wit...

God these guys are just so awesome on stage - all of them. They're just all having fun with the music in their own ways. I love how youngblood drums on his guitar at 6:43 and slide... bam back into the riff. Just great!

Wow Mike was really sucking on a bunch of live vids in 2008. E.g., he couldn't get the final notes, and in the other live versions of Alive he was way worse. He's been better since then - 2008 must've been a bad vintage.

Astonishing performance live. I didn't think they'd be able to perfectly replicate the studio version here, but actually it was better.

Really amazing... the whole album is fantastic. Beginning reminds me of Myrath's album. (Check out Myrath for prog metal with an arabic twist.)

Fascinating! I'm pretty new to their music and have never seen what they look like. Awesome music but they're not exactly the most "photogenic" people, except the guitarist. But he's a total hipster!!! :) How did a hipster end up playing with these guys??

It was his beautiful voice and emotional, somehow deeply conflicted feeling that he brought to the album that was immensely unique and perfectly fitting for Kamelot. God Khan sounded awesome here. I can't believe the guy left. i just watched the live EdenEcho performance with Tommy Karevik, and Tommy is awesome bless him, but Khan is just so perfect for Kamelot.

God Kamelot is so amazing. And so is CM! I'm so in awe that the had Michael sing here. What I like best is that Michael is doing his best to entertain the crowd as though this were his band and his fans. I don't know why but I just love it... it somehow rings "togetherness" :)
