Hopefully, we can at least agree to disagree to some things but we have more in common than that which divides us equally.
I do not support Ron Paul wholeheartedly, and I do not recognize him as a "libertarian" (as I think nationalistic left-wing Anarchists and democratic socialists are true libertarians), and I do indeed hate him! But, I think advocating anyone else in Washington is a lot worse. I myself would want Dennis Kucinich to be in charge of America or Michael Gavel.
As far as human rights, he is not like those Ronald Reaganites or George "Dumbya" B(itch)ush who advocate using the CIA and so forth to instigate terrorism by overthrowing democratic leaders and replacing them with fake "anti-Marxist / anti-Communist" dictators who oppress their own people but kiss the asses of Americans and Zionists. Then again, albeit a Marxist myself, I am not so worryful about people's economic stances right now (especially Ron Paul's), but rather whether or not they are humanists and for human rights and civil liberties. Even as a Marxist myself, I advocate a Free Tibet, a Free North Korea, and a Free Myanmar/Burma as much as I would a Free Palestine. Will they eventually become Marxist / Syndicalist / Democratically Socialist / Socially Democratic / Anarchist / Syndicalist / Antifascist / Communist? I don't know, but so long as they are humanist I am fine with them. :-)
