Woody Jenkins is running for the 6th Congressional District in Louisiana. Woody represented Baton Rouge and has served as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from 1972 to 2000.

He was one of youngest legislators in state history and was named "Outstanding State Legislator in America" by the National Taxpayers Union for his strong opposition to tax increases.

Woody has been married for 40 years to Diane Jenkins and is the father of four children, Margaret, Elizabeth, David and Catherine.
