About this user
-Guided trail rides are available year-round, weather permitting by prior arrangement for adults and children age 7 and older
-Riding classes are conducted several days during the week at a choice of times, in accordance with normal customer and instructor availability. Thanks to our indoor arena, lessons are conducted year-round regardless of the weather. Classes are planned and scheduled to accommodate the students riding ability and goals.
-Ponies are available for pony rides at parties of all types, picnics, and other special events
-We are certified and insured for Scouting and 4H programs. Scouts may ride for a Scout Badge for $22 per person per hour. The Girl Scout Horse Lover's Badge orientation is offered at no cost as a community service.
-We host the Lucky Horseshoes 4H Horse Club at the stable. Annual membership is $10. Call for more information and meeting time.
-Our summer camp program (day and overnight) is small and intensive. We focus on riding and the establishment of a relationship between horse and rider. Campers are grouped by skill level, and if they attend more than one week, the instruction will build upon the previous week's experience. In addition to two riding sessions per day, campers will learn such skills as horse care, show preparation, dealing with foals and yearlings, trail riding and perhaps even have the opportunity to swim on horseback. Additional activities include arts and crafts, fishing, boating and biking.
