This channel is specifically dedicated to Black American women but all women are welcomed.First off, I would like to explain who Hathor (House of Horus) was and is and why I chose this Kemetic diety to represent what this channel is about. One of Hathors names is "Lady of Heaven" but she held many titles and was multifacted in her time of worship. She was the Goddess of joy, motherhood, and love. She was considered the protectress of pregnant women and a midwife. She was the patron of all women, no matter their station in life. As the the goddess of music and dancing her symbol was the sistrum. As a fertility goddess and a goddess of moisture, Hathor was associated with the inundation of the Nile. In this aspect she was associated with the Dog-star Sothis whose rising above the horizon heralded the annual flooding of the Nile. In the legend of Ra Hathor is called the "Eye of Ra." Ultimately she was the Goddess of many things.
Women need healing. We are carriers and givers of life, yet and still we are hurting and our wombs have been desecrated and dehumanized because of such traumas as rape and incest. The children we now give birth to exemplifies these horrendous experiences we have had. They are out of our control and can't respect us because we no longer respect ourselves.
This channel is about bringing us back into balance (Maat) with ourselves, our Wombs, our sisters and ultimately, the Universe. Before we can reach this stage of inner transformation open discussion, counseling, therapy and healing must first take place.
This channels express vision and objective is to bring us back into the joys of womanhood and all its glory! Our healing will not only take place through various forms of therapy but also in the form of music, dancing and being determined to not let anything take our joy; Which is what Hathor is all about!!

Healing WombsInterests
I am interested in the healing of Black American women specifically, through and through. My desire is to see us love each other, embrace each other and build foundations and institutions that reach out to young and older women alike no matter their lot in life; To help them learn what Wombwoman is: Her role in the family and the community; What femininity is about and how to love, respect and honor oursleves, our children, our families, our men, our Wombs.....for inspiration in times of doubt: www.pandys.org this site is fully supportive for survivors. it is a place where women can talk among themselves and get the help they seek on their journey to healing...

i was told years ago that the same thing it took to get a man is the same thing its going to take to keep him. and yes, be your own person all the time.
