Notice the crowd seems to be indifferent to Gutsu's vault and the score. They clearly weren't all that impressed.

It's interesting to see all of the comments about difficulty. These routines started out of a 10 so right or wrong, they should have been judged accordingly. It seems that the judges compensated for the scoring system by deducting less for the more difficult routines. That introduces too much sub...

Milo could have won this meet easily had she not lost control in the turn and took that hop on the dismount. I guess you could say that about five of the gymnast here though.

Interesting, the commentator says it would be greedy to anticipate the drama of 88. While I would have agreed with him at the time, we both had no idea how dramatic this as final would our turn out to be.
