About this user
Parker Wiseman was born on August 5, 1980. The son of a college professor and a school teacher, he was reared in Starkville, Mississippi. He received the entirety of his elementary and secondary education from the Starkville public schools and graduated from Starkville High School in 1999.Following high school Parker followed in his fathers footsteps earned a bachelors degree in political science at Mississippi State University. Wiseman attended MSU on the John C. Stennis Scholarship. In 2002 he was elected president of the Student Association and his classmates later named him Mr. MSU.
After twenty-three years in Starkville, Parker left Mississippi in 2003 to attend graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. There, he earned a Masters in Public Administration from the prestigious UNC School of Government, which currently boasts a top five national ranking in the field of city management graduate education. While at UNC, Wiseman was elected vice president of the graduate student body.
Beginning in 2005, he spent three years earning a juris doctorate at the University of Mississippi. During his tenure there, he was president of the Law School Student Body, a member of the moot court board, and served as a staff member and the office manager of the Mississippi Law Journal. He graduated from law school magna cum laude in May of 2008.
Most importantly, law school gave Parker the opportunity to meet the love of his life, formerly Lindsey Smith. Lindsey and Parker were married on August 16, 2008. They both feel very blessed to make their home in Starkville where Parker practices law with Knight and Mozingo, PLLC.
