Tale's From Mulberry Street are mob stories and facts from guys who were there and who know these things. They felt it was important to meet each week in the backroom of Cha Cha's (Cha Cha's Gelateria) restaurant on Mulberry Street in NYC's Little Italy to tell these stories and talk about the "old" days. Mulberry Street is more than a plate of spaghetti, glass of wine, or a cannoli. Just ask The Unofficial Mayor of Little Italy, John "Cha Cha" Ciarcia who has spent a lifetime preserving its culture, color and integrity. Mulberry Street is a street of bright lights and dark secrets, of old men who once sat in cafes sipping espresso, who with a wink of an eye could change the way the world did business, with a nod stop every ship in the sea, and with a wave of a hand stop a crazed killer from assassinating Rudy Giuliani.
