The reason why I started this profile is because I was so overworked, burned out and sick and tired of working 12 hours or more per day at my home health nursing job as a registered nurse. I just hated working long hours with all the stress and having little or no support from my boss who seemed to care more about making money than patient care. That is why I started my own internet business online. And why I created this profile because I want to meet, network, and give back to other newbie entrepreneurs who are in the same situation just like I was and hopefully my story can help inspire you to discover a better alternative just like I did when I started working from home, being my own boss, and making money online. But before I get into all of that let me just tell you a little bit more about myself
I grew up in Nampa, Idaho in a very poor family with 3 sisters and 1 brother. My father worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 44 years but barely made enough money to keep us in shoes and clothing. I started working in the sugar beet fields with the migrant workers from Mexico at the age of 6 to help out the family. I soon realized that if I was to ever get out of the brutal field work and poverty I needed to get an education.
I managed to get a football scholarship to college but after an injury and personal problems I left college. My dreams of being an entrepreneur were not dashed and after a brief stay in Oregon as a short order cook and working for the State of Oregon Highway Engineering Dept. I moved to Houston, Texas with my then pregnant wife and started my first business. I worked hard and just when success seemed within my grasp I fell into the trap of alcoholism. My battle with alcohol lasted 10 years and I eventually ended up living on the streets of Sacramento, California. My situation was so grave that I came to be under the Adult Protection Services and was hospitalized many times. Everyone had given up on me and were just waiting for me to die, go to prison or be put in a mental hospital.
After going through a number of alcohol detox centers and half-way houses I managed to get some treatment for alcoholism and was able to go through nursing school and become a registered nurse in 1989. The desire to be an entrepreneur never left me and around 1990 I signed up for my first MLM opportunity but for the next 15 years like most other people I failed to make any money. On top of all this I continued to gain more weight and become more toxic and depressed from poor diet and lack of exercise. It was getting harder and harder to get around or even walk up any stairs. If I sat for any length of time my knees would get so stiff I could hardly get up without some help.
By accident or more than likely the Law of Attraction I came upon a group of Internet
Gurus and a MLM company that features Acai berry juice. I lost 70 lbs. within a couple of months of drinking the juice and following a personal development program. I also gained back my mobility and I was able to wear clothes from 20 years ago! This has been such a blessing since being overweight for so many years was killing my knees, feet and legs and this was especially true if I had to be up walking for any length of time.
So thats why I created this blog page. These events have really changed my life and I would love to network and work with like minded people and really get the word out. I told my friend Jerry the other day that if I could create a website, or video, or blog that when I finally connect with a prospect (whether it be through e-mail, telephone, FaceBook, MySpace, Twitter or whatever) Id want that prospect to almost be my best friend already. Id want that prospect to know so much about me already that by the first time we connect and interact with each other they are almost like FAMILY to me and know everything that Im about.
If my blog page, or my videos, can do that then it has done the job I wanted it to and it would completely make my life so much easier because now I only have to talk to people who want to talk to me. Let me say that againNow I only have to talk to people who already want to talk to me!
No more cold calls. No more rejection. No more wasting time with all the WRONG people. Now I only have to talk to RED-HOT LASER-TARGETED PRE-QUALIFIED
Prospects for my MLM business or opportunity.
And when you do that it makes life so much more STRESS-FREE. It makes things so much easier. It makes things actually FUN to build your business. I know that is what I wanted. And is not that what you want too?
