About Scotty C
Thanks for visiting! I think video is a poor medium for showing magic as it removes all the audience interaction and real-time excitement, leaving only the "trick". But at least it does give folks a chance to see what others are up to. I really can't stand the kids out there who have no real understanding of the art of magic, but feel compelled to "explain" tricks. First they do a horrible rendition of the trick, then show you how you, too can become a horrible magician by watching them fumble through their explanation. What these guys don't realize is that magic is 99% about creating a moment by interacting with an audience, and only 1% about the "secret". These guys should spend less time teaching what they don't understand and more time studying what makes magic magical. Rock on!
