Owen Thomas, James Duncan and James Harvey met at a village school in Sussex at the end of the the last century. They formed the band when they met Dan Sinclair and Chris Gogarty near the shark tank of a Sea Life Centre. In honour of this the band is named after a recently discovered deep sea fish. Since that delightful day the band have gained momentum like a Yeti running down a steep hill. Winteria have scored a number of cracking support slots with the likes of Tilly and the Wall, Joy Zipper, Last Days of April and The Love Gods. The band has also headlined the Brighton Live week and recently made it into the capital to play at the Bull & Gate. Winteria write, record and produce their music in a self built studio in the heart of Sussex that's covered in egg boxes and fairy lights.
