Gabriel Quintana was born on November 9th, 1984, in Germany from puertorican parents. He spent his early years in California and then moved to Puerto Rico at the age of five.

Gabriel Quintana learned to play piano at age six, making his first instrumental performance in front of an audience at this age. He began learning to play guitar and drums a few years later. He was a talented boy with a great ability to play music naturally. At the age of 17, Gabriel turned his love of music into songwriting. Then he took the stage as a drummer and keyboardist playing support regularly with various bands such as: The Vintage, Mystique, The Jammers, Anti-Cool, The Analog Junkies, The Joe Quintana Band, Frozenfire and in 2005 he became a member of one Puerto Rico's most successful pop rock bands, Niño Planeta. He recorded on the album "Rebirth" and composed the first hit single "Siempre te Amare". The band broke up four years later.

Gabriel Quintana's music is a compelling blend of classic rock, film scores, minimalist piano, acoustic pop and new age resulting in a style that is uniquely his own. I personally describe it as melodic, lyrical and deeply moving; powerful lyrics and strong music arrangements filled with passion.

Through his songs clean structure and unique style, his only inspirations are life's experiences... Stories of loss, love and lust beautifully written. He rarely writes himself into a tight formal box; he says: ''i like to be open with my feelings, but at the same time i like to imagine a character and play his role and write an intimate and personal song while I'm immersed in that character's world''. You can feel his narrator eye moving across the words like a kind-hearted novelist who stops to probe gently into each of his characters and their desires (sometimes his own), before moving on to the next scene.
