About A Healthy Fat Chick!
My journey towards a healthier me has been fraught with confusion and indecision. Do I love my body, or do I hate the fat? Can fat be healthy? Am /I/ healthy?! Are my attitudes healthy? Are the attitudes of those around me healthy?
This page started out as a weightloss journey. I didn't lose, I gained. In large part, the gains were triggered by unhappiness from my attempts to lose. At times, I became more active, but when I failed to lose, I became disheartened and my activity waned.
My journey is no longer about weight loss. I will no longer obsess about numbers, not on the scale, not in food, not for exercise. My new pursuit is in becoming more ACTIVE, ENTHUSIASTIC, STRONG, FLEXIBLE, INSPIRED, GRACEFUL, and ENCOURAGING. These will be my goals.
