George graduated from the University of Liverpool with a 2.1 degree in sports studies (1998) and began lecturing in colleges on exercise, nutrition and sports injuries.
George gained his teaching qualification from the University of Central Lancashire (1999) and a Football Association Sports Injuries Certificate the following year.
In 2000, George was employed in professional football by Tranmere Rovers F.C. as the first team fitness coach and nutritionist. Whilst working at Rovers, George started studying for his Masters Degree in Sport Physiology at the highly revered Liverpool John Moores Universitys Institute of Sport Science. For the next three years George studied exercise and obesity, exerciseand cardiology, and sports medicine.
Georges own research thesis centred on exercise and immunology. After finishing his Masters in 2003, and recognising a huge void of objectivity within the existing health, fitness and personal training industry, George founded Wilson Health.
To date Wilson Health has provided a plethora of health, fitness and sports therapy services to over 380 clients.
