A mid age man who is frustrated with how life has turned out. Since I can no longer create my holiday videos with decent copyright music, I have no choice but to talk random garbage on YouTube like every other one who wants to be noticed.

Common questions I predict people will ask.

What camera do you use?
I use either a Sony Digital Mini DV or a Sony Cybershot camera with it set to fine mode.

Why don't you use a HD digital camera?
All HD digital cameras use MPEG2 compression. That applies to HDV HD and AVCHD. I think AVCHD actually uses H264 compression. The frames are not self contained frames. This means that slicing between frames aren't as precise as DV. MPEG compression uses GOP frames which makes editing slow and just not as good. Quality is better but since it's on YouTube, HQ using 640 by 480 is good enough for me.

What sort of lighting do you use?
My Sony Mini DV has a hot shoe on the top where I position a camera light. I also use a desk lamp positioned on the side. The side lamp is important as it is in photography.

What sort of programs do you use?
For photos, I use Adobe Photoshop CS2. For video edits, I use Corel VideoStudio X2 Pro.

What specs and sample rate do you render your videos into for YouTube upload?
I always use H264 which is also called MPEG 4 Part 10. 30 Frames per second at a resolution of 640 by 480 so it's available in HQ. The bitrate is a secret which I can only tell you by a message saying I am awesome. The audio is compressed to AAC, 44.100 kHz at 128 mbps. Stereo or mono does not matter. YouTube converts to mono anyway.

Have you tried any other programs?
Yes, I have tried Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere and a few music programs. I like X2 Pro because it's simple to use and cheap.

Why don't you work?
I quit to travel the world. Mainly around Australia, Asia, North America and the South Pacific.

When will you get another job?
Not sure, maybe mid 2009. I'm really not looking forward to waking up so early of a morning.

How did you get into the video world?
My passion has always been landscape photography. Over time, I moved away from that and enjoyed filming. It 's so much more fun in allot of ways.

People talk about your travel videos, where are they?
The travel videos all live on another YouTube channel. I will leave that for you to find.

What do you have to say to the negative viewers who write negative comments?
I think they should stop hiding behind their computers and wake up to themselves. If they don't like the world as it is today, they can dig a hole and crawl in it cause no one would really care. Another saying would be this, get with the program or get lost.
