Besides, all those can fit in pockets or on a belt, so you have an assortment of tools for whatever situation you might find yourself in. My kukri machete doubles as an axe nicely for up to 6" hardwood trunk diameters, but a saw is always nice to have. I like to have the cordage and firesteel for emergencies too, just in case.
