About Wick Poetry Center
The Wick Poetry Center, based in Kent, Ohio, promotes educational and artistic opportunities for emerging and established poets locally, regionally and nationally. Established in 1984, the Wick Poetry Center is one of only 10 poetry centers in the country and the only one with such a broad base of activities, from elementary school outreach to a nationally recognized book and reading series. The Wick Poetry Center is endowed with funds from Robert and Walter Wick in memory of their sons Stan and Tom. We give voice to poets in Northeast Ohio and throughout the world.
