East Chapel Hill High School Band and Orchestra

This is the site for the East Chapel Hill High School Music Department. East features two bands - the all freshman Concert Band and the upperclassmen Symphonic Band.

We have two orchestras, the String Orchestra is a 9-12 course which perfoms standard string literature. The Chamber Strings performs the toughest literature available. The Chamber strings also combine with the winds/percussion to create a Symphony Orchestra. The winds and percussion rehearse separately for honors credit.

There are also two jazz combos. They are:
2005 - Jazz Combo
2006 to 2007: Combo A and Combo Bee
2007 to 2008 - Combo Bee and Combo Sea
2008 to 2009 - Combo Sea and Combo Dee

Other Ensembles may be added as we go along. I hope you enjoy the music!
