Oh ya, heads up: hip hop clothes are totally impractical for fighting in or even self defense. They restrict your body and are to heavy and loose and get cought on stuff. Guys need to stop sagging!!

I dont know much, but is New York all crazy with kung fu guys everywhere who want to fight in challenge matches? Do these guys train at schools or on their own? Also are most of them black? Do any other ethnicities do these matches? I am intrigued because I was having a discussion with a friend about the martial World last night and was talking about how no one takes the Martial World seriously thats why we have so many madojos, and only MMA jocks. Martial Arts Challengers is a really great idea. I am a ten year practitioner of several styles, a black belt, teacher, and competitor. I train and fight in MMA and also have a great appreciation and fascination with the old traditional styles. I am immersed in the world of the martial arts every day, and I really want to emphasize that the Martial Arts Challengers concept is really exciting. It brings back together the division between the modern MMA fighting and the old style vs. style type, which I miss seeing a lot. Styles preserve a certain dignity in fighting that is lost in modern cagefighting. I sincerely hope that you continue this project in spite of a rocky start and know that martial artists everywhere will appreciate it.

With all the hype going into this match, it's sad to see how this all played out. I honestly feel that these two fighters should really consider re-scheduling a rematch. If not for the sake of saving their reputation as a "martial artist", then do it for the people who have worked hard to promote and organize the event since their credibility is also on the line as well. That is only an opinion.
