I don't like Vader and Behemoth too, I just wrote about them, because they have became quite known also outside our country ;). I love rock music, but from metal I only like some artists - mostly these playing power metal.
I think I heard about Dead by april, but I can't remember any songs now.

September is famous here too, but I didn't know that she's Swedish :).
I've never heard of Mustasch, but I checked that song on YouTube and it's awesome!

Oh yes, polish music isn't really worldwide known (expect for death metal bands, like Vader and Behemoth). And I really dislike our pop music. But we have some nice rock bands, I really like Happysad and Myslovitz. Actually, Myslovitz recorded some of their songs also in english, so you can check "I'd like to die of love", "Have or be" or "The Melancholy Tower". And probably the one of few polish songs which became known also outside our country is "Son of the blue sky" by Wilki.
By the way, there's a Swedish band which I adore and I even saw them live - The Hives :). And of course I know Abba, Roxette and The Cardigans.

My birthday was nice, although I didn't spend it in any special way this year. I got some money from my parents because they have no ideas what I'd like to get. And my friends gave me a box with sweets and homemade greetings cards.

Hmm, nothing special. My aunt is going to visit us today. You know, I have prom at 27th January and I still have nothing to wear, so she said that she'll bring me some dresses and if I'll like something, I can borrow it.

In Poland we sometimes call them "red days" too, because they're usually marked red in calendars ;). And yes, our next red day is also Easter. But I'll have two free weeks at the beginning of February, because there will be my winter holiday.

Yeh, my New Year's Eve was similar. I spent some time with my family, we ate dinner and drinked some wine and champagne.
Today I have again one extra free day because of Epiphany. Is it a free from work holiday in Sweden too?
