Whilly Bermudez wants to represent you in the State House and he needs your vote!
A thirty-two year-old business owner, Whilly is the proud son of Cuban immigrants and one of six siblings. He learned early on the value of hard work, determination, and initiative, and founded several successful business ventures over the years. His first major effort, Whilly Bermudez Entertainment, has produced Miami events since 1993. Whilly has branched over the years, providing networking management services to groups and individuals, as well as advertising and consulting services.
As a leader in the business community, Whilly is passionate about community improvement and civic responsibility. To this end, he has organized and participated in fund raisers and toy drives for organizations such as the Children's Home Society, St. Judes Hospitals, and the American Cancer Society.
With community service in mind, Whilly has been interested in politics since he can remember. Hes had the privilege of volunteering his time and energy to many worthwhile political campaigns both at local and national levels. Whillys commitment to the community and the political process has increased in recent years as hes devoted his time and resources to running for public office.
Notably, in 2008, Whilly was elected into the Republican Executive Committee and has received endorsements from organizations including the Miami Herald during an impressive run for a seat on the Miami Dade County Commission. Besides his sharp business acumen and experience in brokering deals and in negotiations, Whilly brings an understanding of his communitys needs and a fresh perspective about how to best meet those needs.
