THE COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED.
THE VIP JURY ARE EVALUATING THE SUBMISSIONS.
RESULTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY
We are looking for original songs expressing a social issue. Any issues that matters to you. We want you to use the power of music — as only art can — to help illuminate the issue and touch hearts or minds. Any music genre you choose.

You can enter as many videos or songs as you want, as long as they are original. Music must be an original composition, for which you must hold all rights. You can be a solo performer. You can be a band.
Make sure we can understand the words you're singing - or most of them.
We prefer a video performance of the song because the winner will be flown to Los Angeles to perform the song at the 2010 Whats Your Issue Awards Ceremony co-hosted by Sony Pictures Studios, and will be eligible to perform at the annual NAMM Show for 85,000 music industry professionals in January 2011.
This is a project of What's Your Issue Foundation, a non-profit group focusing on encouraging engagement in issues, leadership and social entrepreneurship.
Deadline is April 19, 2010.
