About this user

Hi, I'm Bogart,

I was born in Chattanooga Tennessee. Both my mom and dad were from northern Alabama. My mom was a teacher; my father was a World War II veteran of Europe and an electrical genius wizard. To highlight some of his wizardry, I watched him build his stereos and televisions from scratch out of junk parts. My parents were both amazing "can-do people".

I was raised in the South Florida area. Many of my summers, Christmases, and springs were spent at my various different grandparents and uncles' farms riding mules, hunting game, and helping to work the farms. I've been in the martial arts since the age of eight, training under many different masters, sensei's, and teachers, starting with Warren Siciliano.

I began learning metalworking in 10th grade high school. I am a Navy "Vietnam Era " veteran. My primary MOS was fire fighting and engine mechanics. I started singing two years of age. I've had formal instruction with piano, violin, drums, guitar, and vocals. I've had the pleasure and privilege of being on stage with more than just a few bands and the honor of playing with some very fine musicians.

I am blessed with two fine sons and wonderful wife/best friend whom I find myself in love with more and more every day. I have had a very interesting life in which boredom has never been a problem.
