West Orange, the town Where Invention Lives, is a township of almost 46,000 people that has a total area of 12.2 square miles.The town unfolds across the first and second Watchung Mountains with well over 1,000 acres of open land including most of South Mountain Reservation as well as Eagle Rock Reservation. West Orange is bordered by Essex Fells, Livingston, Montclair, Millburn, Orange and Verona, NJ and is about 14 miles from New York City.

Discover West Orange with Joe Fagan Play

TV show about West Orange history airing on local cable channels 36 and 45 in West Orange.

The monthly ½ hour show entitled Discover West Orange will be hosted by local author and West Orange Township Historian Joseph Fagan.

This program will be dedicated to preserving and raising awareness of local history for new generations of West Orange residents.
