It was reported that Paula Cook and Fantasia Barrino were in arbitration to settle the alienation of love lawsuit, but the $100,000 settlement fell through because Fantasia refused to admit that she knew Antwun Cook was married. Arbitration is under way in the dispute between actor Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, and the architect who built their $10 million home in Ketchum.
Hanks and Wilson are seeking $1.5 million in damages from Lake Flato Architects, based in San Antonio, Texas, in a breach of contract dispute. The hearing began in November, 2010. Read more here:

Also, arbitrators can even assess punitive damages to punish a wrongdoer. Bishop Eddie Long made the right decision to use mediation to settle the cases against him. The plaintiffs want damages, he wants the details to be kept private. Mediation will accomplish both objectives in an expeditious manner. I predicted this would happen. Here's my post:
