Tradition has it that this was Jim Reeves most favorite gospel song.It was sung during his funeral church service in August 1964. Wonderful rendition however.

Anyone listening to this song cannot doubt the faith in God that Jim Reeves had. It was his way of expressing faith in God. Powerful and inspiring lyrics that comfort and encourage. Loved listening to this song in one of my deepest crises.

It is significant that Reeves composed this song, and that the beautiful lyrics show a heart that that knew God. Great composition..!!!
